Varjelus PALS placard
PALS front placard for the Varjelus plate carrier. Four PALS rows tall construction, made to work properly with AK magazine pouches which are typically taller (four PALS rows) than most AR15 magazine pouches (three PALS rows). With typical three PALS rows tall placards most AK magazine pouches hang below the bottom edge of the placard. Since we here in Finland still use the 7,62x39 mm AK-based RK series of assault rifles this is a big “thing” for us. Naturally these also work perfectly with shorter magazine pouches.
Low profile G-hook and hook-to-loop attachment. The G-hooks are attached via One-Wrap, so if desired they can easily be swapped out for Side Release buckles. Grip tabs in the bottom corners allow for easy opening and help with securing the hook-and-loop fasteners of the placard when closing it.
The webbing loops on the sides allow for attachment of split-bar QR buckles, Tubes, ROC etc.
Note: due to the four PALS rows tall design these may not fit properly on carriers made for shorter placards!
