OT mag pouch, AR15-AK
This is an open top speed reload pouch, no over the top retention, just an adjustable wrap-around elastic retention cord. The LDPE stiffener between the 500D Cordura layers on the front prevent the elastic cord from snagging on protrusions on magazines and distributes the force of the elastic retention cord. The pouch body is completely enclosed, unlike many similar pouches which expose the magazine to dirt at the bottom.
Fits magazines varying from Finnish 7,62 RK plastic magazines to 5,56 AR15 magazines, and everything in between such as 5,45 AK-74 magazines. The adjustable elastic retention cord guarantees that each magazine type is retained equally snugly.
Three rows of PALS webbing on the outside gives you the option to stack other pouches on top of these. The rear features our standard PALS attachment webbing system with tuck tabs. The attachment straps can also be woven into belt loops for 45-50 mm wide belts.
The double layered 500D construction offers good abrasion resistance. At the very bottom is a drainage grommet to let water out.
